Careers

Sixty-one people, no theatre.

We build software for a profession that notices imprecision. That shapes how we hire: slowly, for judgement, and with a written salary band attached to every role before the first conversation.

Culture

What it is actually like.

About a third of the company has practised law, which changes the texture of the arguments. A feature proposal that would be clever anywhere else gets met here with someone explaining, in detail, what happens when it fails on a filing deadline.

Teams are small and own whole problems. The person who designed the deadline engine also answers the support ticket when a rule behaves unexpectedly. We think that is the only arrangement that keeps software honest.

We are deliberate about pace. There is an on-call rotation because the platform must stay up, but there is no expectation of evenings, and the leadership team is loud about not sending messages at eleven at night. Releases happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays, never on a Friday.

Our hiring process

  1. 1

    Intro call — 30 minutes

With the hiring manager. Both directions: we describe the role honestly, you tell us what you want.

  2. 2

    Practical exercise — paid

A realistic task, timeboxed to three hours, paid at €300. We do not ask for unpaid work.

  3. 3

    Working session — 90 minutes

Discuss the exercise with two people you would work with. No whiteboard puzzles.

  4. 4

    Founder conversation & offer

Within three working days of the last stage, with the band and level stated in writing.

Whole process: usually under three weeks. We give a decision either way, with reasons.

Terms

The things that are easy to check.

Salary bands published internally

Every role sits in a band that everyone at the company can see, reviewed twice a year against the market.

Four-day fortnight for parents

Parents of children under seven can take every other Friday, at full pay, for the first three years back.

Remote within the EU

Most roles can be done from anywhere in the EU. We meet in Vilnius one week per quarter, and the company pays.

Real learning budget

€1,500 per person per year, plus five days. Conference tickets, courses, or a qualification — no approval theatre.

Pro bono time

One day a month for legally qualified staff to do pro bono work with our partner clinic, on company time.

Equipment you choose

You pick the machine. Home-office budget of €800 on joining, refreshed every three years.

Open roles

Five positions, all with published bands.

Ranges are gross monthly for a Lithuanian employment contract, and are the actual band — not an aspiration you negotiate towards.

Nothing that fits?

We keep a short list of people we would hire if the role existed. Write to careers@info-lex.lt with what you do and what you would want to work on. We read everything and reply to most of it.
